Meghan Trainor is all about that fitness on her path to becoming "stronger."

The "Made You Look" singer recently stopped by Today where she spoke to hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager about her fitness journey and shifting focus from just running on a treadmill to lifting weights at the gym. Noting that she's "not crazy" enough to work out every single day, Trainor said she goes to the gym to lift weights about three times a week, a hobby she claimed has greatly affected her life, per People.

"I didn't know lifting weights would change my life so much. I was, like, dying, trying to run on the treadmill, and it made me swollen," she said, adding, "I just saw I can be stronger, you know?"

Not only does the exercise allow her to take better care of her health but to keep up with her and husband Daryl Sabara's two sons, 3-year-old Riley and Barry, 17 months, even joking that now she "[lifts] them up like a dumbbell."

"I mean, look at those kids. I've got to lift them up and chase them. I'm exhausted," she said, adding that her kids will often visit her in the gym. "They come and visit me every single workout. They come at the end."

The "All About That Bass" singer, who has been spreading the holiday cheer on this year's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, will also light up the Empire State Building later this month for the iHeartRadio Holiday Pop Up Party.
