Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hasn't had an official wrestling match since his WRESTLEMANIA battle at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium against John Cena in 2013. That is rumored to change at an event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center later this year.
Andrew Zarian reported on the latest edition of the Mat Men podcast that The Rock is expected to return at the 2021 Survivor Series pay-per-view.
On TV, Rock's cousin Roman Reigns is claiming to be “The Tribal Chief”, "head of the table" and the most dominant wrestler of all-time. The perfect story would see The Rock challenge his own blood relative at WRESTLEMANIA 2022. WRESTLEMANIA will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas and could bring in over 100,000 spectators.
The beginning of that story is rumored to begin at Survivor Series a few days before Thanksgiving.
