Remember back in 2015 when the internet was mind blown by this dress which was black blue for some and white gold for the others?
A similar confusion is back, but this time people are trying to decide whether this viral audio file says Laurel or Yanny.
Laurel or Yanny? What do you hear?

I KNOW what I heard!!
I may be the only one who heard "Laurel" in the office. EVERYONE else heard "Yanny"

The real answer seems to lie with your ability to hear higher frequencies.
Those who hear higher frequencies better, tend to hear "Yanny" and those who hear more low frequencies hear "Laurel".
A helpful Twitter user adjusted the pitch so that you can hear what others are hearing...
Playing with the pitches means I am still only hearing "Yammy" at the 40% end progressing all the way down to "Gary" at the lower end...— Shelly M (@teckiemom) May 15, 2018
Never once heard #Laurel or even a clear #Yanny on any of them... 🤷♀️
